Helping leaders turn strategy into business results.

Christy Hritz working on a marketing campaign

I've done the work.

I've led the work.

And I've learned how to connect it all.

I’ve spent 20+ years working across nearly every corner of marketing, from writing copy and producing commercials to developing brands, launching websites, introducing products, and implementing new technologies. I’ve seen marketing evolve, and I’ve been hands-on through that evolution, from setting up companies’ first social media accounts to putting AI to work today.

My time in sales and business development gave me a perspective you only get from carrying a number. I learned resilience, how to hear “no” without losing momentum, how to earn trust one conversation at a time, and a deep respect for the people responsible for driving growth.

Along the way, I realized that even great marketing strategies can stall when people inside the business aren’t aligned. So I started applying my marketing and sales skills internally: understanding audiences, communicating clearly, building buy-in, and inspiring action. That helped leaders align around strategy and helped teams adopt new ways of working.

That’s still marketing. The audience just got bigger.

Examples of my impact

  • $100M → $220M+ Florida market revenue growth at RSM US LLP. I co-developed the multi-year strategy behind it.

  • 9 offices, 100+ leaders aligned around one market strategy and new ways of working.

  • $15M+ strategic pipeline identified in six months through a growth framework I designed.

  • $600K marketing investment across 40+ programs, aligned to growth priorities and finished 17% under budget.

A broader perspective

Experience across the business

Every role taught me something different. Together, they shaped how I think about strategy, people, and execution.

Marketing

Understanding people, shaping messages, and inspiring action.

Sales

Building trust, navigating resistance, and creating momentum.

Communications

Creating clarity, strengthening buy-in, and helping people work differently.

Transformation

Aligning leaders, connecting priorities, and turning strategy into action.

Perspective changes the questions you ask. Better questions lead to better decisions.

Five beliefs that guide my work.

01

Start with questions.

The best solutions begin with understanding the real problem, the people involved and what success actually looks like.

02

Question assumptions.

The first answer isn’t always the right answer. Better decisions come from thoughtful questions and considering what others may have missed.

03

Agreement isn’t alignment.

People can agree in a meeting and still leave with different interpretations. Alignment requires shared understanding and ownership.

04

Make it simple.

If people can’t explain it, they can’t execute it. Complexity has to be translated into something people can act on.

05

Keep perspective.

The work is important. Panic usually isn’t. Perspective and a little humor help people navigate change with more confidence.

“If people can’t explain the strategy,
they can’t execute it.”

What I Listen For

The words people use often reveal a different challenge underneath. These are the questions I instinctively start asking.

What I hear...
Where my mind goes...
Everyone agreed. Why isn’t it working?
Agreement isn’t alignment. Does everyone share the same understanding of the priorities—and their role in moving them forward?
We invested heavily in this. We need people to use it.
Do people see enough value to change how they work?
Let’s send everyone the 42-page deck.
How can we make this simpler and easier to act on?
Let’s schedule another call to go over it.
Is another meeting the answer—or do we need a clearer decision?
But we’ve always done it that way.
If we were starting today, would we do it this way?

What I’ve learned

The best strategies don't fail because they're wrong. They fail because people don't understand them, believe in them, or know what to do next.

A FEW THINGS YOU’LL PROBABLY NOTICE

I ask a lot of questions.

I use plain English.

I challenge ideas, not people.

I believe appreciation builds trust.

I leave things simpler than I found them.
